Richard Dawkins was an evolutionary biologist who first introduced the word “meme” in 1976. A ‘meme’ is an idea or a symbol that is spread virally in form of picture or video on social idea. Most of the memes are planned to be funny and are captioned photos. Other memes can be verbal expressions and videos. Some memes have moral and ethical content.

Over the past some days you must have seen on the timelines of your social media sites a guy tapping his finger on his head. It looks like he is thinking something. Might be he is thinking how to get rid of his problems. The man in the picture is Reece Simpson. A British filmmaker and actor Kayode Ewumi created this character and named it as a.k.a. Roll Safe. He’s the hero of Hood Documentary.

Roll Safe meme was originated in June 1st, 2016 by the BBC Three YouTube channel. It was based on a Hood Documentary series. Within short period of time this video gained so many likes and comments on YouTube. The Roll Safe image or thinking Meme is mostly associated with the jokes insulting poor judgment and failures in intellectual thoughts.
